Plasma Physics
Collisionless Terrella Experiment (CTX)
During my summers at Columbia University, I was involved in the Collisionless Terrella Experiment. This device created a dipole magnetic field inside a vacuum chamber. We then ionized diffuse hydrogen gas, and studied plasma transport through the dipole magnetic field. My work focussed on developing high-speed camera diagnostics for plasma imaging and resulting in several publications and poster presentations at the American Physical Society Division of Plasma Physics conferences.
